I did the last six years of my schooling at the Doon School, Dehradun (which is also my hometown – I love it and yet have to know a lot more about it) and am following it up with Economics at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. School was an opportunity for tremendous exploration – ranging from that of scenic Himalayan beauty to that of the human mind (especially my own). The journey continues through college.
I belong to the creed of people who are never sure of their romances or realities because there are just too many of them. I try and stay away from ideals and idealism, though they always form the baseline, and enjoy the aberrations in life (at least in retrospect). I value the importance of diversity and the need for inclusiveness. My faith lies in one God who is in each one of us but exists for all.
I like to read and travel (though I haven’t done a lot of either) and enjoy movies (anything but horror) and music (soft/sentimental Hindi/English). Friendship for me is not just good pastime. I enjoy introspecting, especially on long walks, and I have my mood swings – they always give me a chance to do so. And though I do not mind change, I enjoy being what I am. |
