Cricket as seen through the eyes of a 19 year old.

The book presents a matter of fact account of the sport. As one reads the book, a feeling of having sailed through the various ups and downs in Cricket in the last ten years is inevitable.

Anand does not mince words while giving his views. It is a true and honest perception of the 19 year old author about the sport. The author speaks of all the teams and players who have left an impression and various other noteworthy changes and occurrences that have taken place in the sport in the last ten years.

The book should be a treat for all the cricket enthusiasts who are open to fresh and young thoughts about the game.

Firstly, I would love to congratulate Anand. He has definitely done some praiseworthy work. Writing a book at the age of 19, is definitely not a cakewalk. I was really ecstatic when i heard he had penned his very first book and i knew it wouldn't be anything but cricket. Sports was always his forte, and cricket without a doubt, his passion. Well, Anand has come up with a really fresh & a creative concept. He has focused on 3 key players of each side over the past ten years. People would think picking up just three players from each team, wouldn't be any hard task. But, picking up just the right players was the trick here. One can make out the hard-work he has put in with the amount of research he has done, with the amount of knowledge he has gathered from other various sources. He has given each and every player equal importance. He has shown, how they are not only responsible for the development of their respective teams, but also to the overall development of the game. If he wanted he could have summed up his book with just the top 8 teams, but he has given equal importance to the Minnows as well. This book is not only recommended to the people who are already into cricket, but also to them who have just developed interest for this lovely game. I think this book is written with complete honesty and dedication. All the points of this book are genuine, the facts are truly up to the mark. It was really a pleasure reading this lovely book, it got me hooked onto it completely, no doubt I finished it within 48 hrs. I was really a proud friend when i saw his name on the cover page of the book, his interview with DNA and the positive review by Neo sports. I wish my friend Andy, Good luck with his coming ventures. Its definitely going to be much bigger than this. All the very best Andy... make us proud again!
